Re-Align Your Moon Manifesting Power

The ancient practice of using the power of the moon to manifest-wanted and release-unwanted energies within our being has been confused a little over time. Like most other practices we tend to move blindly with the given information we can find. The stories from our ancients, those whom were very connected to the earth and their inner cycles were lost along the way as we played telephone. So what we currently use to base our moon practices on come mostly from popularized articles floating around on the internet, truth be told! The real answers are always within us and to find the truth we simply need to go deep within ourselves and into our cellular memory, we need to experience our unique trails and errors. You can also surely find small tidbits of truth if you go digging into the google oracle archives long enough or even better the library! But why go out when you can go in?

The most popularized full moon and new moon rituals are based on the idea that when the moon is at its fullest or at its beginning phase it holds the greatest potential for influencing and amplifying the energies we are intentionally generating whether that be releasing or drawing in anew. This is understood because the moon when full or new, has its greatest gravitational pull on the earth and is drawing upwards the energies towards the greater cosmos, the universe, and will eventually be reflected back down onto us in a new arrangement. The success of this depending on how well we have prepared and laid out the conditions to receive them.

Just like the moon’s gravitational pull on the earth during a full moon or new moon phase—when it’s in alignment with the earth and sun—affects the oceanic tides, so do the tides of energy within our body become affected, we are made mostly of water!

When we were barefoot and daily grounded to the earth we were constantly in alignment with the energies around us. We would sleep when night would come and we would rise with the sun, a basic synchronization with the natural cycles of our environment. Our internal cycles were reflected back to us by the natural cycles of the planetary movements, this is why we used to call a woman’s menstrual cycle her Moon because it’s when the potential carried within the unfertilized egg was released back out into the universe.

A woman’s internal ‘new moon manifestation potential’ is actually when she is ovulating. During the days of ovulation the potential energy within the unfertilized egg is released into her womb so that the possibility of new life can be created–a woman’s womb is our connection to the cosmos– this is when she can fully harness the raw life force within to create without. Yes the new moon phase will help to amplify this energy but it plays a secondary role to that of our inner cycle.

Depending where we are in our life cycle, maiden, mother or crone archetypal phase—at times less to do with age and more to do with attitude—our menstruation will either be in sync with the full moon or with the new moon. When our being is open and receptive to creating new life we ovulate near the new moon and when we are in a phase of inner growth or transformation— when our energy is focused on cultivating sagesse—we will ovulate closest to the full moon.

The inner state of cultivating sagesse in combination with ovulating on the full moon doubles our manifesting power. The reason why it is doubled is because the full moon is at the end of its cycle, the accumulation of knowledge culminated during the moon cycle is energetically compacted and absorbed into greater wisdom during the death phase–the full moon and becomes extremely potent with new life.

If our inner manifestation power is greatest–if we are ovulating–on the full moon we are capturing directly the wisdom inherent from the conclusions received at the end of the ‘lesson’ or cycle and can use it to amplify and birth anew during the next cycle or moon phase. In this sense we can create and manifest a more powerful and balanced ‘Wise Love’ out into the world with each cycle.

If your body and soul are still open and willing to bring a child into this world you will likely menstruate on the full moon or close to it. If you spend lots of time grounding into the earth this synchronization will be amplified and you will very likely start the first day of your period on the first day of the full moon. This is why spending time in natural helps to naturally synchronize our internal rhythms with the external ones.

Both men and women have cycles of hormones that rise and fall throughout the month. Men share monthly cycles where the hormone testosterone peaks within their system. If they are connected to their body sensations and emotional fluctuations they will be able to perceive when their testosterone levels are at their highest and when they are at the lowest. Some indications to help men notice when their testosterone levels are peaking is a heightened sex drive, a greater sense of confidence, less social anxiety, feelings of euphoria and general wellbeing, if it is in over abundance then you will most likely feel aggressive and unstable.

It is during the peaking of testosterone levels when men have the strongest ability to manifest out into the world and if they are well connected to the earth this ‘high phase’ will synchronize similarly with the new moon or full moon depending on whether they are aiming to conceive a child or to gain momentum with their inner sage. When a man’s testosterone levels are at their lowest, when they are soft and vulnerable to the world around them they are well positioned to release unwanted energies such as thought patterns, bad habits, emotional stress and illness.

As men and women creating in this world it is important that we become aware of the inner and outer cycles that govern the movement of our life force, the inner waves of power at play. An inherent wisdom that we’ve lost touch with over time but none the less accessible to us if we so chose to discover it. This information is essentially our birth right. We have become so separated and detached from our natural rhythms that it’s as though we are often working against ourselves unknowingly.

What I have been learning over the last 5 years is that searching inwards is the only way to find truth. If we continue to search for the answers on the outside we don’t only lose touch with our natural wisdom but we become blind sheep to the information force fed to us by mainstream media, a platform which only looks to secure it’s power in a world based on consumerism. Separating us from ourselves and leaving us less and less empowered and knowledgeable when it comes to making good decisions for ourselves and our families, a truth only we can discern.
